2818 RCACC

On Saturday May 15, 2010, Eighteen Members of 2818 Hastings & Prince Edward Regiment underwent training and jumped to earn their Mock Tower Wings.  Four Instructors from the Canadian Forces Land & Advanced Warfare Centre (CFLAWC) in Trenton volunteered their time to train the Cadets and officers.  The instructors were WO SC Bechard, Sgt. RE Barkley, Sgt. RJ Aube and MCpl. SY Tremblay.  Earning their Mock Tower Wings were; Capt. L. Allen, Lt. E. Chan, Mr. J. DeMille, CWO T. Wall, MWO C. Wall, MWO B. Villeneff, WO C. Kelly, WO M. Flint, Sgt. J. Flint, Sgt. M. Smith, Sgt. V. Snyder, Sgt. W. Vader, Sgt. A. Desforge, Sgt. A Duncan, Sgt. S. Ewing, Sgt. N. Flint, Sgt. T. Kelly and MCpl. A. May.  The CFLAWC has been instrumental in providing training on their Rock Wall, Mock Tower and in September, their Rappelling tower.  In addition, they allow the unit to use their property to do their Field Training Exercises fully equipped with military vehicles for use by trained personnel.  The officers and cadets of the unit wish to thank the CO of CFLAWC, his unit and especially Capt. Larry Hocken and Sgt. Jason Bridge for all of their hard work and dedication to their Corps this training year.
