This year’s Army Cadet League Annual General Meeting and Training Seminar was a huge success! Approximately 185 League members and Cadet Instructors attended the meeting and workshops, which was held April 30 to May 1, 2010 at the Delta Markham Inn.  The members enjoyed a banquet Saturday evening with guest speaker, Colonel (Ret’d) Gene Lake, who is the President of the Army Cadet League of Canada. The Cadet Pipes and Drums from 2817 Lindsay provided the entertainment and the members enjoyed dancing to a DJ after dinner. 
Eight different workshops were held on a variety of topics by excellent facilitators. Workshop facilitators were as follows: Major Jim Shields, Major Bob Barrette, Al Tobio, Marilyn Walkom, Roberta Shaw, Maj. Ian Bains, Capt.Cory Lohnes, Capt. John McEwan, Judi Joslin, Capt. Rose Sari, Terry Whitty and Col (Ret’d) Gene Lake.  |
