 Don McCumber has been involved with the Canadian Cadet Organizations, in one capacity or another, since 1961. Starting off as an Air Cadet in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, he eventually became a commissioned officer in the Cadet Instructor List. Over the years he has held several prominent volunteer, business and political appointments within his communities.

Army Cadets Commemorates Vimy Ridge |

This is the first year the Army Cadets will be commemorating the battle of Vimy Ridge across Canada! This event will be held annually. A video entitled Vimy- A Soldiers Story has been sent to each Corps; The President of the Royal Canadian Legion Provincial Command has announced to the League that they will be absorbing the costs of this DVD as part of the Cadet training and educational materials. A special thanks to the Royal Canadian Legion for their generosity in making it possible for every Cadet Corps to receive a DVD.
